The Gr8 Crate

Using the design thinking method, my creativity class (part of the Innovation Academy curriculum) was assigned to design a prototype that reduces food waste. I collaborated with a team to create "The Gr8 Crate". (Its structure economically displays produce without bruising fruit bellow.)
To find a solution to the problem, I created a chart to help find where a major source of food waste was coming from. This graphic was published in a Google Venture article.
With my group's ideas, I created a virtual sketch of how our prototype would work.
