Baking Tips
  • Can I use margarine instead of butter? In order for the cookies to turn out well, butter must be used.

  • Does it matter what kind of milk I use? Nope! As you can see from the video/pictures, I decided to use almond milk, but it is up to your preference.

  • When placing the cookies onto the pan, it is best to lightly cover your hands in shortening to reducing sticking.

  • Does it matter what kind of chocolate I use? This is up to you as well. When receiving the recipe, I was told that milk chocolate would be best since the cookies themselves are not very sweet. However, as you can see from the video/pictures, I decided to use dark chocolate since I personally prefer it better.

  • If cookies are made 1-1 1/2 inches wide, you should yield about 5-6 dozen cookies.
