In the Fall of 2018, I joined the Universal Orlando Team a Facilities and Utilities Training & Assessment Intern. 

 

Universal Orlando's claim that "in their universe, there is no 'ordinary' internship" is certainly no understatement. As an intern, I assisted the Facilities Development department in creating training material for new-hire technicians. Some of the projects I worked on were on-boarding SOPs, training outlines, trade-specific unit scavenger hunts, infographics, and a resort-wide virtual map. As I worked on a variety of projects, there was never a dull moment. 

 

In addition to my assignments, I attended additional professional development opportunities such as Campus2Career and shadowing other Team Members.
