Interactive Map

Note: According to Universal Orlando's Online Sharing Policy, I as a Team Member cannot share "...Any non-public, confidential proprietary information, such as trade secrets, inventions, strategies, development of attractions, shows and/or characters, financial information, products, pricing, know-how and technology..." including "...video or photographs of such non-public, confidential segments of our business taken behind the scenes." (Univeral Orlando Resort Team Member Handbook, page 26). I could not share any actual copies of projects from my internship. However, I have included brief descriptions and "outlines" to show a glimpse of what I worked on as an intern.

An on-going project I worked on during my internship was a virtual map. Often, there are new hires who have never visited the parks as guests, which makes it difficult to find certain venues during a work order call. This map allows the user to toggle between Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, CityWalk, the Resorts, Volcano Bay, and Back-of-House and see photos and locations of all venues. There are short quizzes at the end of each guest area.

The map was created completely by me on Articulate Storyline. About 10% of the photos for venue fronts where taken by me (the rest was taken by a co-worker for documentation purposes).
